Madisonville Business News – July 29

Our August 2020 Night Networking Event scheduled for August 13th, has been cancelled due to COVID-19. We will have a monthly meeting in place of that meeting. That meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 11th at 9am on Zoom. A link will be sent the week of August 3rd.


The Procter & Gamble Company and its Secret Brand are reaching out to support small businesses facing economic challenges due to of Covid-19 thru a $1.2MM partnership. Business grants, up to $10,000, will be awarded, prioritizing:

  • Women- and minority-owned beauty salons and barber shops
  • Child care centers
  • Black women entrepreneurs (the Secret portion of the grant – $200,000 – will have this focus)

The Madisonville Business Chamber Awards and Holiday Party 2020

  • We are happy that The Summit Hotel is now back open for business! During their temporary closing, they supported several initiatives to help businesses (sanitizer giveaway) and the community (blood drive).
  • Shred 4/15 has opened at 4781 Red Bank Expressway.
  • A Madisonville pop-up plant business, Fleurish Grounds, was highlighted recently in Cincinnati Refined. Stay tuned, as this business will be expanding to a storefront, remaining in Madisonville, in the very near future.
  • Millie’s Place, 5923 Madison Road is part of the Reignite Cincy: Temporary Outdoor Dining program. Millie’s is open weekends and can be reached at 513-527-4075 for carry-out.
  • Bramble Food Mart, 5909 Bramble is open and has expanded their beer and wine selections.
