City of Cincinnati - Permit Fee Increase

Notice: Permit Fee Increase Effective July 1
On Wednesday, June 12, the City of Cincinnati City Council passed the FY 2025 budget. Along with the passage of the budget, there was a fee increase of 4.1% on the Department of Buildings and Inspections building permit fee schedule.
Other notable changes are as follows:
Application fee for Residential Code of Ohio (RCO) applications are now $45.00.
Application fee for Ohio Building Code (OBC) applications are now $125.00.
Items NOT included in the fee increase: Vacant Building Maintenance License, Vacant Foreclosed Property Registration, Scanning Fees, and Copies.
